Daily Mortgage Rates Are Back Above 3.5% | November 23, 2021

After four days of downward movement, the average rate for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage is back up today at 3.547%. Almost all loan types saw higher rates, with the 30-year refinance loan increasing to 3.72%.

The increases shouldn’t pose a problem for well-qualified borrowers planning to apply for a new mortgage or refinance their current home loan. Competitive rates and low monthly payments can still be found.
